| Buck's Biscuits is a home based manufacturing business located in Southeast Ohio, Athens County. Buck's
Biscuits provides high quality food products for pets. We use ingredients that are free from added chemicals such as preservatives,
steroids, antibiotics, or food colorings. These ingredients must be certified chemical free, organic, or free range. We raise our own beef
for this product. Other meats are purchased at the local farmers market and local venders where the meats can be verified for quality.
Buck's Biscuits was started in October of 2001. I made biscuits at home for friends and received encouragement from them to market this product. At that time I had to develope my own recepies. I then began to attend the Athens County Farmers Market on a regular basis. I have established a faithful clientele. My overall vision of this business is to become established on the Internet. Buck's market would be people interested in purchasing pet treats that are higher in quality than that of the typical dog treats found elsewhere and people whose pets have had problems with allergies to products that are on the market. Buck's Biscuits expects to draw some patrons from the retail stores, but, I believe most of Buck's business will come from a specefic group of individuals who require better ingredients that make up thier pet treats. They will prefer better quality. Bucks Biscuits mission is to offer dog owners a gourmet dog treat that is made with meat, free of steroids, antibiotics, and added chemicals. It is also Buck's Biscuits mission to offer a treat that is low in calories. Our products are available at the ATHENS FARMERS MARKET, local specialty stores, and on the internet. Buck's Biscuits primary goal is to offer the best darn dog biscuit this side of the Mississippi! |
